Who would have the courage to ditch the high heels stilettos on such prestigious event? Even if Nicole Richie was also spotted wearing the same type of the unusual sneakers, specifically the Fila Skele-Toes Amp running shoes, it is less surprising for her for she is heading to the gym to burn some fats and not on a red carpet event to be taken pictures all night long.

In defense to Shailene Woodly, though these sneakers provides comfort in the highest level making the you feel like you are not wearing any shoes at all. The Descendant actress probably thinks that it is safer to wear the toe sneakers than to wear stunning and elegant pumps that is not so comfortable.

Personally, I still don’t buy the look of Nicole Richie wearing toe sneaker even if she will just go to the gym. What more if you are going to ramp in a red carpet, but I admire the courage of Shailene.

On the 30th of January, Kristen Stewart had a photo shoot for her upcoming issue of Vanity Fair .This may be out on the news stands on June in association for her promotion of the soon to be first summer blockbuster Show White and the Huntsman. If only Robert Pattinson, her leading man and boy friend in real life, was in the picture then it would seem really romantic that Kristen is wearing a couture gown in Paris.


The photographer for the said photo shoot was the famous Mario Testino, the same man behind the camera for the engagement photo of the royal power couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Kristen was wearing a strapless gown form the Spring Collection of Christian Dior. She was also spotted schmoozing with Karl Lagerfeld, a designer. It looks like the Kristen is catching up the multiple covers of his boyfriend.

With the trend that Kristen Steward is keeping up, she slowly blossomed into being a certified fashionista from her photo shoot to landing the new face of Balenciaga fragrance.

On the 25th of January, Salma Hayek was spotted as she goes out for the Prada 24 Hours Museum that is located at Palais d’Iena in Paris, where she chooses to be seen wearing a dress made out of lace that goes with a very low back and overly plunging neckline. As expected the beautiful actress was able to pull the sexy and stylish look, it just seems so perfect for her even if the cleavage show-off may be a little too much. But what distracts me most about the entire wardrobe was her shoulder bad and velvet choker.

I could not think any other girl who can carry this kind of dress with such glamour and finesse the way she did. She need not to accessorize more for her assets speaks for itself so she should just ditch the box clutch and the choker. She really gave the lace fashion some boost as she was able to channel her style that is sexy and chic at the same time. But the best accessory that she has was her confidence and attitude that is the prime reason why she looks amazingly hot during the Paris Fashion Week.

This season the strapless gowns are back. This may be and old school but is sure did rock the Golden Globes red carpet. Kara Janx is not so thrilled watching herself as she panics the entire second episode of Project Runway and so is the dare to come up with a design of couture gown in one day. She felt that Austin also known as Liberace who was announced to be the King or Queen of Couture was a sure winner of the competition. And Michael was also extra talented when it comes to draping.


With a challenge this tough, all of them brought out their A game and no one ever hold back on their express couture gowns and it all resulted into breathtakingly beautiful and stunning gowns. Kara Janx worked with Badgley Mischka who is equally lovely and charming as their fashion house. It is funny how Kara thinks that she will need Xanax for next week’s challenge.
